Elizabeth Rose Murray writes for children, young adults, and adult audiences. Her books include the award-winning Nine Lives Trilogy and Caramel Hearts. Her debut, The Book of Learning - Nine Lives Trilogy 1 is currently being made into a TV series, and is also on the Junior Cycle English reading list. Recent anthology and journal publications include The Elysian: Creative Responses, Reading the Future, Autonomy, Popshots, Banshee, Terrain, Not Very Quiet, Ropes, and Tiny Essays. She lives in West Cork, Ireland.

CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION FOR TEENAGERS
Enjoy writing, why not get involved in our new creative writing competition for 15 to 19 year old's. The theme of this competition is Afterglow, Revival. To be in with a chance to be selected submit your piece to thelityoungwritersfestival@gmail.com by the 1st of November.
Rules: Only original work, no writing that is blatantly discriminatory to a
minority group, no writing that has been published previously.
All shortlisted entries will be asked to read or have their pieces or
extracts read at final event of the festival – Open Mic Night Saturday
